Nr Parameter2)DescriptionComments
1Radiocommunication service--
2ApplicationNon-specific SRDsFor any type of application which fulfils the technical conditions (typical uses are telemetry, telecommand, alarms, data in general and other similar applications).
Equipment that concentrates or multiplexes individual equipment is excluded.
3Frequency band169.4875 - 169.5875 MHzDevices may probably suffer from interference in Switzerland and in the Principality of Liechtenstein. The applications have to accept interference from Paging services. (The channel 169.4125 - 169.4375 MHz may be used for wide area paging systems in Switzerland and the adjacent channel 169.4875- 169.5125 MHz is used for wide area paging systems in the north-east part of Switzerland).
5Modulation / Occupied bandwidth-According to current version of EN 300 220-2 V 3.2.1 Table B.1 (Band F)
6Direction / Separation--
7Transmit power / Power densityMax. 10 mW e.r.p.-
8Channel access and occupation rulesDuty Cycle max. 0.001 % except for 00:00 h to 06:00 h local time where the duty cycle limit is max. 0.1 %.
Techniques to access spectrum and mitigate interference that provide at least equivalent performance to the techniques described in harmonised standards adopted under Directive 2014/53/EU must be used.
Duty cycle max. 0.001%.
Between 00:00 h and 06:00 h local time a duty cycle limit of 0.1% may be used.
9Authorisation regimeSwitzerland: License exempt.
Liechtenstein: General authorisation.
Operation on NIB / NPB. (Non interference basis / non protection basis).
