ACM is allowed.
OBW: 13.75 / 27.50 MHz.
Definition of spectral efficiency classes: refer to EN 302 217-2, clause 4.1.1.3.
Adaptive Coded Modulation (ACM) is possible.
OBW with Class 5HB (128-QAM or equivalent): 13.75 MHz / 27.50 MHz with or without ACM.
OBW with Class 6LB (256-QAM or equivalent): 27.50 MHz without ACM.

Nominal RX input level = - 50 dBm.
ATPC control range = min. 12 dB to max. 20 dB.

Conditions for the nominal RX input level:
- Receiver input, point A in the system block diagram (EN 302 217-1),
- RX input level tolerance: +1 to -10 dB,
- ATPC set to min. TX output power in clear sky conditions (i.e. without rain fading).

ATPC power increases shall be triggered on the basis of propagation effects only. The ATPC system shall not remain at max. available power (EN 302 217-1, clause 3.1) for more than 15 consecutive minutes (ITU-R Rec. F.750).

Remote Transmit Power Control (RTPC) is considered to be an optional feature.

At first CCDP has to be used and then ACCP.

Limits of transmitter power spectral density: Refer to EN 302 217-2, clause 4.2.3.2, Figure 7.

Antenna radiation pattern envelope (RPE) according to EN 302 217-4, Figure 17.
OFCOM may impose tighter requirements than the minimum values given in EN 302 217-4 in order to maximize the use of the scarce spectrum resources (Class 4 antenna).
